La Chapina

Found a new favorite in La Chapina! The dishes were incredible. The setting is bright, colorful, cheerful and same goes for the staff! Will be frequenting this place for sure.

This is some of the most authentic Guatemalan food you can have in the states. Everything is full of flavor, carefully homemade, and absolutely delicious. I would eat here every day. Plus the service is so friendly. I love when an owner/cook is willing to engage anyone who walks in about the food. Shows pride.

Outstanding food. Living this far north all my life, I would go so far to say possibly the best south of the border style I've ever had. At first I was skeptical about how their rating was so high with that many reviews, and now I get it.

The owners are also wonderful and friendly, will brighten your experience.

Wonderful service, excellent food. The server brought over complementary samples of their beverages. The salsa is fresh and delicious, the green mild and the red more spicy. The mole is delicious, more sweet than spicy. The decor and environment is charming, it's easy to feel like you're having a private moment with whoever you're with without other people hearing your whole conversation. Would recommend.

A little chaotic because they are still new. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly. Imagine having a favorite Guatemalan Aunt who wants to make sure you get enough to eat. That's what it feels like here. The vibe is good.
