Sage Against the Machine Bellingham

Nate and wonder wife have created such a special spot here in Bellingham! He is so friendly and informative, taking time to share with us the meaning behind the Bellingham flag and the indigenous tribes who live here. The food was epic and were most definitely coming back soon!

Went there for a quick bite to take back to my hotel. So many choices it was hard to pick one! They even have several gluten free options! Ended up with 2 sandwiches and they are so good!!! Definitely will be back! Pictured is the Buffalo wrap on a gluten free wrap!

Our new favorite Bham restaurant. It can be a challenge to fine consistently tasty vegan care but not at Safe Against the Machine.
Tons of options and it's all great. Nice little store as well.

This is the restaurant of my dreams 🥲 Came here with a friend while we were in town and we loved it so much we came back the next day. Everyone is SO friendly and accommodating, you can tell they really care. And the food is so good we were practically licking our plates. (I loved the pita and the teriyaki sandwich.) And there were even vegan groceries (many from small/local businesses) for sale in the front! We left with an armload. I'm telling everyone I know about this little gem, it could not have been a better experience. Thank you so much ✨

Love this food truck so much. First time trying and I got the BBQ soy curl sandwich and my hubs got the mac with a brat and kraut and whoa, absolutely delicious. We enjoyed being able to eat and have a drink at the brewery and the woman working the food truck was sweet and super friendly. We will definitely be back. I can't wait to try them at the new grocery store too. Just heard about that.
