I was impressed. This place is lacking on the decor but more than makes up for it with the food and service. When I went they were slow and the service was instant, my breakfast was impressive. I was expecing less but got more. The potatoes were a little heavy on the seasoning but it was in a nice way if you know what I mean. I would go again if I was in the area and I would bring friends.
Average wait time, and delicious food. The small potato pieces were well seasoned and the French toast was tasty.
Feels like you're with family!
The folks running this place are really nice and the menu was "just right" for that "diner feel", you know the kind where they serve food they're good at preparing and you can get whatever you want whenever they're open. You don't want to be in a place that has a 10-page menu that they can't do anything often enough to do it really well.
Our group had a variety of food. Some had breakfast (a traditional bacon/eggs as well as one order of biscuits/gravy & egg) Very tasty and hot. The rest of us had lunch. The club sandwich with fries had lots of delicious ham and turkey. The "B.A.L.T." (or as it's called in California, "BLAT") is a BLT with added Avocado. If you've never had it this way, you should try it. Avocado is a perfect addition to this sandwich. I had the house potato salad, which I really liked but my wife hates onions in PS, so if you don't like onions, stick with the french fries.
