Whenever I come down to the states, I ALWAYS stop here. I have brought many a friend and family member here and we always leave full and satisfied. You can't go wrong with the lunch trio. I probably will never stop coming back here. Amazing value for money, super friendly staff, great atmosphere and location for shops and right across the road from the mall. Thank you again for making us Canadians feel so welcome!
We come here for the pies!!! Award winning pies to be exact! We love them all. We always buy a couple to take home. At an average price of $12/pie - it's not cheap but definitely worth it. The other food is alright. Typical diner fare. Give the pies a try.
Shari's reminds me of a well polished diner that offers a wide variety of options towards meals for any time. Their breakfast menu includes options from small portions to large and staff is attentive. Though pricing can be a bit higher than competitors like Denny's across the street, Shari offers loyalty program to earn points. If you're into enjoying a slice of pie or purchasing well made pies, consider Shari's on Wednesdays between 4-10PM.
We've been going here for over 15+ years.. the old good servers are gone and now some new faces. I'd give 5 starts but it's the service that's going down, yet the food portions are still good and everything is fresh. Make sure to grab a quiche to go and a pie! Join the rewards club and you'll get treats and discounts on the regular!!
The chicken fried steak, baked potato soup, quiche Lorraine, and stuffed hash browns are to die for!!!
Open 24 hours, a typical American style cafe, originated from Oregon. Staff are very accommodating & welcoming. You get a warm greeting from the staff. Menu is extensive with lots of breakfast item, they have their specials too. Apparently they are known for their pie but we didn't try them.
I ordered one of the special, honey style pork chop with eggs & hash browns, a breakfast sampler plate, sirloin steak & eggs. Hash browns were cooked well with crisp top. Eggs & steak are done right according to your preference. Pancakes were fluffy & they have sugar free syrup if you asked. Their French toast were very good, they used Texas style bread, very well done. All in all a very enjoyable meal with friendly staff.
