This place is fantastic. Their oysters are harvested by the owners and brought in fresh. They told me the oysters be from ocean to the front door in about 13 minutes. So if you want fresh oysters and are in the area look no further than Drayton. Give them a try even if you don't like oysters. I would recommend the BBQ oysters with their garlic and herb seasoning. Enjoy the food and the bay.
Last night my girlfriend and I discovered this amazing must visit oyster lovers dream. the oyster soup was a delicious precursor to the cleanest grilled oysters on the half shell either of us has ever eaten.it was a symphony of flavors that danced happily across the taste buds. The staff (Jason, Amy and Michael) were a perfect cheerful compliment to the rustic ambiance the Drayton Harbor Oyster Company provides. Thank you for an amazing dinner. We will most certainly return.
The oyster co. Is a nice addition to downtown Blaine.
We got there just in time to grab one of the last seats available ,the place was packed. Obviously the place was packed. Drayton Harbor is situated on the bluff overlooking the bay-the views are great plus big bonus we got there for sunset...gorgeous.
Now let's talk about the oysters you can have them raw or grilled so fresh and flavorful, such a great treat. I like the Drayton Oyster Co. Very much and I will return.
We had a lovely visit. Ordered a couple raw oysters to start and we got one each of the savory, simple, blue bacon and the bourbon brown sugar, for grilled. It was so delicious and it was fun sitting at the little bar counter on the back deck enjoying the sun, ocean and great company. Oh my husband also got the Atwood ales Oyster Stout and it was pretty tasty.
My goodness, what else to say but fantastic!!! My wife, dad, his friend and myself went today. Denise and I had gone 2 years ago and loved it. The new location puts Drayton Harbor Oysters over the top.
Started with 6 raw oysters, which were oh so sweet. Followed up with 6 cooked (different ingredients in 3).
By far, the best oysters on the West Coast.
Do yourself a favour and drive to Blaine, WA for oyster heaven.
