Worth the drive in every way. I surprised my girlfriend with dinner this evening: brisket with Mac salad, cornbread and pickled cucumber with blueberry cookie dough cheesecake for dinner. I asked Allen to pair this meal with a bottle of wine, and I am blown away by the everything I just had. Perfectly paired wine: dry to accompany the perfectly cooked brisket. Thank you guys! I called ahead for takeout and they brought it out to the car with directions how to heat it up- couldn’t be easier! Can’t say enough about it. Make the drive! It’s worth it!
Our first time, although we drive past it on occasion. Just off the main roads in Blaine you may not know it's there unless you go a block out of your way. New build, plenty of parking and seating. Placement of large windows and tables give it an upscale diner feel upon first glance. But live-edge type tables, mirrors, lighting, cloth napkins and stemware, and no tvs (music and general patron conversation made it so you could easily talk and be heard), and you feel you're in a nice restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly. Although we went for the Belgian beer tasting, the food was the star. None of the portions are huge but they are large and more than enough food for most. Hubby had seafood chowder which I tried and we both thought the flavours were great; he also had the burger sliders which he really enjoyed and said the meat was very good. But I wanted space for my first Ethiopian food: beef stew with carrots, peppers, onions, potatoes and wonderful spices. Not sure what Ethiopian is supposed to taste like but this had great flavour and a wonderful mouth feel; the bread was hearty and tasty and made the plate even better. I was happy. Belgian beer was good but not my style as they seemed too micro (maybe I'm not cultured enough although the cherry one was a good fresh surprise) and as a general statement Belgian really are my favorite beer. There is an outside patio which we'll have to try in the summer. Owner came outside as we left and asked for our feedback, as a newer place.
Valentine's dinner at the vault was very relaxing and really delicious. There was a nice choice of starters and entrees and the big finale was the wonderful dessert selection. After dinner we enjoyed the music for a bit before heading home. It was a really nice evening ..
Took my wife here for our wedding anniversary. It was nice and quiet, the service was amazing, and the food was even more amazing. If I'm ever back in this area again I will eat here again!
A very handsome facility, featuring clean lines, natural wood and stone. It was a bank thus The Vault, they really do store wines in vault storage. They have space for private parties or specific special events and they are anxious to help you plan and execute your next social gathering. All that being said you can just go for Happy Hour, they have an interesting offering, a bottle of wine from a select menu with a cheese board appetizer, we enjoyed this alot and will avail ourselves of their lovely patio come the nice weather.
