The Old European Restaurant

Generally have had good experiences at these restaurants, and their location in Spokane is the best. Aebleskivers are a family favorite, and I enjoy the Austrian coffee. Prices are fairly high for what you get. This morning I had the biscuits and gravy, which were extremely dry and served with a very small portion of gravy - I've had far better B&G many other places. The fresh squeezed orange juice machine is a cool novelty, but I noticed it was being loaded with green oranges. Cool feature if you're willing to fork over $20+ for a carafe. Table service was very lackluster and not very attentive.

Went for Father's Day breakfast, place was pretty busy and very loud. Waitress was nice, food...not so much. Ordered the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and grilled potatoes, extra crispy. Girlfriend ordered toast and grilled potatoes, and we both ordered coffee and orange juice. When the food arrived, her meal was what she expected, and she enjoyed it. My meal came with stale biscuits and bland, not enough (had to ask for more, just to cover the biscuits) watery gravey, both which were only warmish My grilled potatoes looked just like hers, definitely not "extra crispy" and my eggs were almost cold. The kicker was the $7 small glass (maybe 10oz) of orange juice. SEVEN BUCKS!!! When all was said and done, the meal was $83, including tax and tip. Definitely not worth the price I paid for it.

Absolutely the Best service I’ve ever had. Keiosha was our waitress and the food was great. I’ll be back for sure. I had the Ruben Sandwich 🥪 for lunch. The bread was made in house. They delivered a classic Ruben exactly the way it is supposed to be made.

Kay was super friendly! Cute little place with yummy yum food! I had the potato pancakes (tasted soooo good with applesauce), my daughter had chocolate chip pancakes, I had a hot chocolate and we also had pancake sausage balls. Everything was to die for!!! Will definitely visit again!!!
