“I always enjoy the food that I get at King's Pizza. They are normally courteous and pretty fast for the type and quality of food they serve. This location in Hedgesville has a very nice dining area. The only reason that I am not a regular at King's is their prices. Don't get me wrong, their food is delicious and well prepared but it is expensive for what you get. I normally have to wait until I have a coupon or just accept that I will have to pay more than what I want to when I get a craving for something from King's. The one other issue I have is the "tips for cooks" jar that you see at every location. The food is already expensive and they want you to "tip" them in addition to the price? I know and respect others who disagree but "tips" are for exceptional service above your regular responsibilities. If they added extra cheese or toppings at no cost, then that is above and beyond and should merit a tip. But they charge you for every little extra so why are they expecting a tip in addition to payment? I think it comes across as a little disrespectful to me as a customer. Overall King's does a very good job and is a place I enjoy eating but there is still room for improvement.”

“1) Visited at 10:30am on a Monday. 2) Busy but not crowded. 3) Country style diner with home cooking menu. They do take special requests that vary the menu within reason. 4) Friendly staff and owners. 5) Coffee order taken quickly. 6) Old fashioned men's restroom that is always well stocked and clean. 7) Ordered veggie omelette. Substituted peaches for home fries. Ordered toast with no butter. All served as ordered. And it tasted real good. 8) Prices are competitive with similar diners. 9) We will return again.”
