Bavarian Inn

With trepidation I took a former colleague there for dinner and drinks. The ownership of this place has a chip on their shoulder. The wait staff were professional on this visit and presented a good best effort to explain all the drink offerings. The German food was at best mediocre. It's value was low considering the price. While they did offer a varied selection of German beers they were what are typical of American imports through SAB Miller. In the end...you go here for the atmosphere... They really have done a nice job on the architecture. The upstairs dinning room is updated and very modern looking while the Rathskeller is very traditional. Both dinning areas and bar are extremely inviting.

Great food. Really good beer and wine selection. The price's aren't really that bad for nicer dinning.
Dress code isn't super formal. I wore dress slacks button up shirt with a sports coat.
I saw people wearing khakis with polo shirts. I'd say business casual at a minimum.
I gave it 4 stars because they forgot our appetizer and because the food came so fast didn't even notice. So a positive and negative. Regardless you won't be disappointed

My wife and I found that Bavarian Inn were open Christmas day. We made reservations and enjoyed an amazing meal. Since the last time we had eaten there. A cozy new bar with a roaring fire place, leather sofas and chairs were added. Like a prior visit. The food was amazing. For Christmas we had several entrees to select from on a special menu. Amazing food, Great Christmas ambience and outstanding service. Pricing is a little high, but it's well worth it. Looking forward to our next visit.

We have been going to the Bavarian Inn for the past 12 years. We absolutely love the rathskeller! The Bavarian Inn just remodeled and includes the brew room, as they have installed a brewery in the restaurant. The ambience is absolutely delightful. And, as usual, the food was on par. The Bavarian Inn offers traditional German fair as well as modern American options for dining. The chef is phenomenal and will often bring out samplers as he tries out new recipes. We highly recommend it!

We were there with my parents last weekend with our five kiddos and we will be there again for a date night this Saturday. Can never get enough of the Bavarian Inn. ❤️
