“Outstanding. Having been to and enjoyed South Hills Market, I was curious to see how 1010 would be. The interior remodel is very nice, and has a nice welcoming feel. This being a pandemic, however, I wasn't here to stay, only to pickup. And am I glad I did. We only enjoyed 2 mains this trip, but both were outstanding. The salmon and the scallops were both excellent and highly recommended. I hope to return soon and try some of the other things on their outstanding menu.”

“From the moment we walked in we were intrigued. There are lots of really cool and interesting old newspaper articles on the walls. We were instantly greeted by the owners who were very nice and pleasant. We ordered a BBQ sandwich and a side. I chose the macaroni salad and my boyfriend chose baked beans. The BBQ was amazing, hot, fresh and delicious flavor. The macaroni salad and baked beans were great. I cannot believe I had never noticed that place before. It was our first time eating there and based on atmosphere and the experience we will definitely be back. The music that was playing was super classy. Adds to the flair of the place. Very nice!!”

“I moved away in 2013 and have just come back to the area. The Anchor's Admiral Deluxe pizza was on my list! I called in my order, went to pick it up (a 25 minute drive btw) and found the building has gone through a transformation. The new owner is a great guy, very personable. The staff was very polite and obliging. I was told of the previous owners passing, I'm so sorry for the loss. When I got home and tried a piece of pizza, it was SO good! It's the taste of Charleston that I was missing. If you were a fan of the old place, give the new place a try. Same great food, I promise :)”

“Very friendly, speedy service with delicious results!!! Everything we had was excellent! We started with gyoza and vegetable tempura. Both were so good the gyoza was so savory and the vegetable tempura was crisp and fried to perfection. We both had pad Thai one with chicken the other with shrimp. Again both were sooooo tasty. Very reasonable too! More than we could eat. Yay leftovers. Highly recommend. :)”
