“My wife and I recently ate at the Hale House during their soft opening. We were very impressed. Most times a soft opening is a bit rough, but our experience was pretty great. I had the Wagyu burger and the apple Salad. My wife also had an apple salad and some buffalo wings. My burger did come a little pink even though I ordered it well done, but I didn't mention it to them because it was absolutely delicious. Our server was super nice as well. Drinks-wise I had the Bourbon Sangria, and my wife tried the Lemon Drop Martini and the Raspberry Martini. I'm not a Bourbon fan at all, but the Sangria was actually pretty good. The Lemon Drop was also very good, but super sweet...pretty much exactly like drinking a sour ball candy, so be forewarned :) . The Raspeberry Martini was pretty much perfect as well. Honestly, I really had no major complaints! It's nice to have another quality option in Charleston and I wish these guys the very best success. I'll definitely be back.”

“I'm a way out-of-stater and had eaten at a nearby restaurant. Luckily I had happened to see a corner sign that said, "gelato" on it earlier, so I had looked it up on the maps and found this place. It's newer and had no photos or reviews but I went on a whim because it was close and I'm glad I did. I love gelato to begin with (I find it to be a lot better than regular ice cream) and this place was phenomenal. The gelato was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. I had had a special that another customer was raving about on the way out to me - lemon and coconut gelato with ginger raspberry balsamic vinegar. The latter part might sound odd, but high quality balsamic vinegar can be quaffed straight up and taste delicious, like a wine almost. So the gelato was superb and the addition of the ginger raspberry balsamic vinegar put it over the top. Outstanding and unique. Staff was super friendly and it was a clean, cozy place. Super glad I stopped in.”

“I’ve heard it said “New brooms always sweep best” but I’m thoroughly impressed with the food and with the facility. It’s very clean. I’ve found that the choices available on the buffet are far superior to all the other buffets around the valley. “The room was sparkling clean. Pet friendly!! There was easy access outdoors to a nicely mowed area for pets! Breakfast was fantastic. The mattress and pillows were comfy, the access to restaurants was ideal. I was so pleased with the experience I signed up for the rewards program. There was outdoors and indoors pools, a bar area, and close to a casino, and stores. It was well lit parking and in a safe area of town. The front desk and housekeeping people were courteous and kind. At breakfast today, I saw a slice of bacon had fallen to the floor the food service worker spotted it immediately before I was able to mention it. Very attentive and clean tables during height of service says a lot. Good job!”

“A lot of people seem to go here for the bar and television screens. Our family goes for the food. Prices are very reasonable and there is a daily special as well. My teens like the tater tot option as a nice change from French fries but I like the side salad. The bang bang shrimp appetizer is my favorite. My kids also enjoy playing darts. We are usually there for lunch or early dinner. I dont know what the atmosphere is like later in the evening.”

“This place is modern and fresh with tasty, decently priced food! The white sauce they serve with the chips and salsa was amazing. Host was friendly and our waiter was friendly and attentive. The restaraunt was very clean and tidy. The one reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the LOUD music. My family and I could barely converse due to the loud music in the dining area. It was a whole other level of LOUD in the bathroom. My 6 year old and I had to yell to speak to each other. Other than the music, it was a great experience with food and staff. We will definitely be back to this Mexican restaurant!”

“The staff was very friendly! I order the maple glazed salmon & Cajun chicken pasta to-go. The sauce on the pasta tasted strongly of oregano and lacked seasoning, the chicken was fried,also a bit to dry. The salmon was good but could have been better. Personally I would have like a thicker coating of the glaze and just a pinch more of seasoning. The rice was good as well as the broccoli...blanch to perfection. I would definitely go back again. Could have just been an of day and also I did order moments before the kitchen closed but still that is no excuse. Just hope for better next time! ????”

“I love, love, love Dairy Queen! Variety of foods and ice cream! Friendly staff ( only ran across 2 unfriendly employees in the past). Other than that, great service! Went to D.Q. again today. (4-18-19) The service was great! I returned a hot dog to get my money back. Hated the chili and the buns were not French buns. Please bring back the original chili and French buns!”
