“For its proximity to Spencer, WV, this has to be the nicest(newly renovated) restaurant in the area. The place is clean, cozy and visually appealing. There is table service, take out and a well stocked bar at this location. The service is fast, friendly and attentive. Parking is in front of the restaurant and across the street. Prices are decent and food, freshly prepared and delicious. Congratulations on raising the bar for the area.”

“This is a must see for visitors and staple for locals. Deli meat & cheese cut fresh - almost all Walnut Creek brand products. The breakfast, lunch and dinner menu's change weekly and everything we've tried had been delicious. The grocery and produce part of the store has a nice selection of fresh local and other veggies & fruits. The floral store has lovely outdoor plants & flowers and a thriving flower and arrangement service. The whole makes up such friendly country charm it's had to resist. The outdoor patio is nice to having lunch outside on a nice fall day as well. Huge flowering Mum's and tons of pumpkins of all sizes, color and shape are in stock right now. One of our usual shopping places and favorite restaurants.”

“This place doesn’t look great inside, but the food is pretty good and I have been here a couple times already in the 3 months living in the area and will be going back. Polite customer service and “service with a smile” both times I have gone. This is the type of food you expect from a small, hometown type restaurant. I have heard their iced cream is the best in town (DQ is just up the road). I haven’t tried it, but I will.”
