Classic feeling spot for live bluegrass music, drinks, casual food, and the real menu highlight — ice cream. 15+ flavors of locally made ice cream you can order to stay or to-go. Plenty of seating, though it fills up closer to showtime and you’ll pay a small cover charge on Saturday nights.

Nice place in a small town. We stopped in for a drink and an appetizer before dinner. The homemade hummus is great! They had a really good selection of beer and other drinks. Live music was setting up to start later. Worth the stop if you're in the area.

I had a terrific time playing here. The staff were all super nice and they have good food and beer selection. Plus it's a neat old building tucked away in Thomas WV so you gotta check it out for the vibe and the live music. Cheers until next time!

I love stopping by The Purple Fiddle when I’m the area! A comfy patio, great live music, a decent menu. I was really disappointed with the veggie burger that I ordered though. The menu said a mix of veggies, but it was a frozen, grain-based Pattie. Steer clear of the veggie burger unless they try a made in-house option!
