“Was not disappointed in stopping in for dinner here, especially on a Wednesday which happened to be burger night. We both had well done burgers with bacon, mushrooms, and roasted red peppers. Delicious and juicy, not to mention hot off the grill. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. Loved that old time restaurant vibe. It was like stepping back in time. Yes, as others have mentioned the bathrooms are small, but hey!, that's not a place where one eats their meals. LOL Quiet dining to relax in after hiking and sightseeing as noise level is moderate.”

“Absolutely beautiful scenery. You can tell the lodge is aged, but it is well maintained. The rooms were fine and fairly priced. We ate breakfast in the dining room, which was very good. Golf course is beautiful. Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. We would consider buying property here, but winters are brutal (I used to live in the county)! Great place to get away for a vacation.”

“We ( my son-in-law and me) were passing through town playing a couple of GPS games and decided to take a break for some food. Our final mission took us to Marilla Park. We stopped and checked for some local cuisine. Classics was less than half a mile away so we decided to give it a try. We were greeted as we entered by the gal behind the bar (Julie). She took our orders and gave us excellent service. The food was very good. We had wings ( we tried the Pete's and the Cajun), a couple of burgers (we both had the Classic Cheeseburger), fries (choice of 3 different) and water. We had no room for the dessert special. Cookies and cream pie. Next time. We'll be back. We promise. 10/10 will recommend to others.”

Highly recommended Edit : I should add/expound upon this review. The exterior of the building is simple but when you enter it becomes a fine dining establishment. The staff are very friendly and highly knowledgeable about the food and beverages served. This includes a variety of very nice wines and craft beers. You really can't go wrong here folks... They have a full bar with lots of drink mixes. The restaurant is attached to a very old motel and in a small community but don't let appearances sway you from stopping. It is worth your time. Call ahead for reservations for evening dinning is recommended.”

I'm visiting from NYC and wanted a nice but casual place for dinner with a pretty large group. It was a last-minute reservation but the hostess greeted us like old friends and instantly made us feel welcome. Our waitress was darling and attentive and steered us to some of her menu favorites. They did not disappoint! The cocktails were inspired, creative and expertly made. My entree of chicken and waffles was epic! It had some regional flair which made it so unique and delicious. I heard from a local that this restaurant had gone through some turnover, but I'm happy to say the current proprietors have figured out the magic. I highly recommend this gem. As a jaded New York foodie I have to recommend this so highly. My only regret is not ordering dessert.”
