La Autentica

Friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was a great find. With a unique and delicious selection of margaritas (home made), salsas, pico de gallos, and sauces it was a gem. We had chips and salsa, a lingua burrito, chicken quesadilla, beef chimichanga. Everything was delectable.

Another reason to enjoy Rice Lake! We found this restaurant by accident and gave it a try. We had a very good margarita, the rim was salted and a little spicy. We ordered the chicken chimi and quesdilla. They have a nice salsa bar where you can try a variety of salsa's. There were some great choices from traditional to coffee and avacado salsas. The chicken was tender and very tasty. We will definitely be back.

Love to see a new restaurant in the area! The menu has really great variety for everyone to enjoy. We had burrito bowls and flan for dessert. The flan had the perfect texture and was very pleasing. All the fresh salsas and condiments were delicious

We were spoiled living in Phoenix for years and YES --- it's true; this place hits the namesake for Authenticity. The meats were tender and seasoned well. The sauces I worried would be "too bland" to cater to the Midwest palate, but they were flavorful, and range from mild to spicy! The white sauce is delicious! The variety of salsas will keep us coming back! (Our only complaint was quickly fixed! We had requested "no beans" but our order did not come customized. For our family, legumes are a food intolerance and that was disappointing. My husband ordered another to take home and the cashier noticed he had packed the other to go. He fixed the error for us at no charge. Great customer service! )

This place is an outstanding Mexican restaurant with authentic recipes. I loved the salsa bar, and the food was very fresh. I had a tamale Rojo and two different street tacos. Very friendly staff and the restaurant was nice and clean. I would like recommend La Authentica when in the Rice Lake area.
