“Excellent Chinese food. This has become our go-to Chinese restaurant just one mile from home. Easy to order onlibe, generous portions, quality ingredients, very fast, pipng hot chef-prepared. We especially like the steamed dumplings… just like I had in Shanghai. Also has nice. dining room but most orders appear to be take out. Next to Kwik Trip on Calumet in strip mall…a bit hard to see from the street.”

“Had an amazing experience here! Started out with some delicious specialty drinks at the bar, would highly recommend the maple old fashioned. Do not skip the appetizers, we tried several of the starters and they all come out very well prepared, and hot!Tenderloin was melt in your mouth, I’d have a hard time not ordering it again next time. Wrapped up with dessert and being as full as I was, could not stop eating the cheesecake, pastry chef is top tier. Our server Dana took care of us and was very pleasant. Looking forward to going back!”

“If you're eating Chinese food then this is the ONLY restaurant to go to. The food is good, workers friendly, and they're quick. (All the other Chinese places use soy sauce based gravy. I'll just drink a bottle of salt!) So China Gardens you keep up the great work.”

“We love to find our "go to" restaurant. Lucky for us we found it! ???? So far we've had their breakfast. I had the Eggs Benedict and my forever had the Biscuit n Gravy with a sausage patty in between the fluffy biscuit. We couldn't find a place that made those the right way. Again, we finally found it. We had their Baked Chicken dinner on a Sunday - it was excellent! Real mashed potatoes too. The gravy isn't that great and the corn tastes like it's from a can. Chili is not that good. The Chicken Dumpling is good if it's one of the soups for the day is on the board. We got a container of it from the fridge to go. It was a little to salty for my taste. The wait staff and hostesses are rather polite. Plus, it's a clean place. I recommend this place 100%. Enjoy eating a home cooked meal!”

“In a beautiful spot on the lake, its a nice place to be. Prices are average, and service is great. I have only been here for events as they have a large indoor and outdoor space as well as two large extra rooms. This latest time I was here was for a volunteer project that they donated one of the rooms for, and they were very accommodating and helpful. Bathrooms were clean, the space looks great. Definitely a great place to host projects and events!”
