Capital Takeout

Capital Takeout is my favorite place for lunch. I typically grab a soup and pre-made salad. Their soups change daily, and I've never had a bad one, and their salads are great too. Staff is friendly, and their baked goods are also delicious. Very affordable too.

Good food for a great price. Breakfasts could use a bit of a variety. Made to order scramble gets old after a while.

Sausage and cheese bagel was great. Hazelnut coffee was good, just a little on the thin side. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and quick. Definitely recommend for breakfast on the go.

This place is awesome.

When you walk in, the layout is a little unconventional. It's setup almost like a deli with a salad bar in the center. I was confused for about 10 seconds until the staff greeted me!

The staff is unbelievably friendly. They answered all of my questions and were very accommodating.

The breakfast is delicious (and cheap!). I got a simple breakfast sandwich and it honestly made my day better. Went back for a late lunch, if you guess the weight of your salad, it's FREE!

This is a hidden gem - behind Colectivo on the square - that I highly recommend.

So many good things to say. The food is always SO DELICIOUS! It's comfort food at a high level. And the customer service is amazing--we always feel so welcome! WOW WOW WOW
