Very nice little Shop. Kin kin coffee and by far the best ganache drink in Madison. Chocolates are definitely worth the hype and the price. Truly a craft for the owners and makers. Beautiful decor, but the store is a quick in and out versus a cozy stay a while. This place will make valentine's day an easy choice.
Lovely spot overlooking Wingra. Vintage look. Nice chocolate selection! I had coffee and a blueberry hand pie. Very good . They have daily quiche. Really cute little spot.
We got two waffles, a travel mug coffee refill, and two tiny cups of hot chocolate. The bill came to $26 -$28. A bit pricey. I know the waffles we're $8 each, but didn't look at the cost of the other items. It seems like the cost if the other stuff must be in line with other coffee shops in the area.
It was not at all busy, there were several empty tables, nevertheless it took almost a half hour for two waffles to come out if the kitchen. They were very good waffles, but if average size, and with no toppings (I didn't opt for them). A half hour to produce two waffles and put some syrup and butter into small cups seems excessively slow.
The location is not great due to parking, and the place is very small. There are some interesting looking chocolate items in the case, but given the other options in the area, nothing on this first visit was compelling enough to make this a place I go to regularly.
The sign outside said "Awesome Waffles"; let me tell you that was an understatement.
My daughter and I came upon this place by accident because of a shortage of time. What a treasure. I was doubly rewarded that all there bakery items are gluten free. My daughter had a waffle and I had a hand pie. It was so delicious, I simply had to get another hand pie to save for another day. We bought some chocolates too. Cutely decorated and super scrumptious. I really hope people take my words to heart and go in search of this little peace of heaven whenever they are in the Madison area.
Best Valentines gift ever! The chocolate is amazing!!! I love supporting local business, and Madison Chocolate Company does not disappoint. The Passion fruit truffle was one of the most decadent things I have ever tasted. The salted caramel was also amazing, I had to hide the box from my kids so they wouldn't steal any, and I could enjoy the chocolates in my own time.
