Palette Bar and Grill

I called ahead with a large group on short notice and they were able to put us up without too much trouble.

Palette is a steak and seafood place and didn't disappoint. The scallops looked expertly seared, the steaks were cooked to specification and we'll seasoned. The salmon was also well received as well as the tenderloin and flat iron.

The burger was perhaps too big but did come with a cute mock paint can of fries and got high thumbs up!

The food was well prepared and the staff were friendly. If you're looking for a nice night out (within the neighborhood or not!), Palette is worth your attention!

The only negative things I have to say about this place were the parking and lack of service when I checked in with the hostess. All of the parking is valet, which is $6. If you don't want to pay, you have to park in the road. The hostess stood there and ignored me for 2 minutes before she even acknowledged me. The hotel staff greeted me right away and our waitress and other servers in the restaurant were very nice. The bread came out piping hot, my mushroom appetizer was delicious as well as my flat iron steak and ice cream cake. Overall loved it and will be back.

I had the tenderloin steak, baked potato, shrimp & french onion soup. All were very good. Everyone in our group commented on how good the food was. The design of the room was all hard surfaces and was very loud. At times, it was hard to hear the conversations at our table.

New restaurant, still working out some issues when it comes to delivering meals with all sides (room service). Best meal is the slow roasted chicken and French onion soup is good. Steaks were great cuts and cooked to order, however, could use some seasoning. Dessert menu is lacking and the chocolate cake was not freshly baked. That said, they had great customer service and service recovery.

I enjoyed a savory French onion soup that was very pleasing to the palate. The Duck Duck Goose cocktail was colorful, fun and refreshing. The decor is a unique mix of lovely colors and industrial paint history, yet with a warm feel. I am a painter and thoroughly enjoyed the paint theme. The staff was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend anyone to give it a try.
