Great breakfast spot. Unique bloody Marys that have a beet heavy flavor. A little sweeter than I'm used to in bloodies, but I'd recommend it if you're a more adventurous type. Good eggs Benedict, top notch pancakes, and the breakfast potatoes were great with a nice crunch on the bottom.
Absolutely wonderful experience here! My husband and I are vegan/gluten free and there were SO many tasty options. The GF pancakes and vegan hash were our favorites. Great service and lovely location. Next time we are in town we will definitely be back!
Food was fine, but for the price I didn’t feel it was worth it. There are many rules to be a customer here, and the staff was not welcoming to get us through the process. There are signs everywhere to read to do this, not that. Wear a mask to come in, only 2 parties in to order at a time, but then sit at a communal table if the other small tables are full and you don’t have 6 people to sit in a booth. Sitting outside on the street was rough - it’s a 5 street intersection and the only thing separating you from the street is a portable parking curb and a rope. Wear a mask but keep coming back in to get coffee, and to get shared condiments (no you can’t have single serve those are for take out orders). It was all confusing. We had 2 trios, plus 1 side and 2 coffees as pictured. The potatoes were good gluten free pancakes good, eggs scrambled fine. With tip it was about $55. I really wanted to love this place, but it was a miss during our visit. It feels like a 3-star review but with covid issues and confusion we’re all going through I’ll bump it up to a 4. It’s a lot to be in business now, I am cheering for them.
One of my favorite breakfast spots in Madison. Often you will see a line running out the door to get in on a Saturday morning. The food tastes great and is worth the wait. The pancakes have just the right sweetness to them and are paired nicely with an assortment of sides. Delicious.
