Takarajima Sushi

First the good! Absolutely delicious sushi, clean restaurant and work stations, helpful and hardworking staff.

The only downside I experienced was the wait time, BUT I'm nearly positive that this was due to the fact that they just opened and are still working on prep, scheduling, and getting into an efficient workflow. I'll definitely be back! Looking forward to watching this place grow.

The food was absolutely delicious. Fresh fresh fresh. Miso soup so good.. salad dressing ginger, fruity so😋. Rolls beautifully presented. Gracious service in a spotlessly clean restaurant. We enjoyed it so much we added a to go order to share.. We're coming back.

The tuna tataki, raw and cooked rolls were all perfectly balanced in flavor. Cannot wait to enjoy some sake next time I visit! It's was worth the wait once we got our rolls. It did take a while to get our food considering we were the only table but I understand they are new and working out the kinks. The prices are also reasonable and would push me to pick Takarajima instead of many other sushi places in Madison. Highly recommend for any sushi lovers!!

Excellent! Have gotten their sushi twice in the last week. Once for Sunday dinner and for a Friday lunch. Awesome creative rolls and the standards. Another reviewer mentioned Puppy Love. It's really special. Just really glad Takara has opened a location here. So good!!! And great customer service.

Excellent Staff and a large variety of Great food to choose from. Cozy atmosphere when you want to dine in or easy ordering online with any of the online ordering services including the one I used was the restaurant's own website: takarajimasushiwi.com. I have already ordered many times in the past week and each time was delicious in its own right. The fish was fresh and tasty. The chicken and shrimp combo was very savory that comes with white rice and a side. The shrimp tempura was very crispy and crunchy. I will definitely come back for more!
