Amber Indian Cuisine

Literally the only Indian restaurant I'm willing to eat at. The owner is kind and caring! Just be willing to wait for orders to take about 10-20 minutes unless there's a lot of dietary restrictions then allow longer wait times.

Amber Indian Cuisine is on my way home for work, so it serves as a fast and easy stop for take out food. Using Madison based Eat Street app, I have stopped many times. The food is always fresh, hot, professionally packaged, and my pick up is fast and uncomplicated. The main is delicious, and and everything I have ordered has been a culinary pleasure to enjoy in my home.

Tonight, I made an impromptu stop for take out. I met with the owner, who also serves as host, and who took my order. He asked me about my day, which was actually a hard day. He suggested I enjoy a glass of wine while I wait, and served complimentary sauces and bread. My food was ready in 15 minutes, and was delivered with a smile. The dinners I ordered were clearly prepared with care and were simply a delight. Dishes are served with airy and perfectly finished rice and fresh naan.

I have not tried the buffet, but imagine it would be quite the spread.

The food was delicious, I had the goat. The service was nice and attentive, and they gave us some complimentary sherbet/ice cream. Oh, and the naan is insanely good. You have to try it.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. The food is of good quality, authentic, and reasonably priced. The service is fantastic! I travel about 1.5 hours to dine here and it is totally worth it! The buffet is good. I would recommend the butter chicken (it's to die for!) and garlic naan.
