Great spot to grab some food, and have a few drinks. The atmosphere is great with a nice sized seating area and a large bar. Grab some of the in house brewed beer and get it canned up to take home! I would like to see a bit larger menu, and have a few more options. The blackened salmon was a great dish, but for the money I was hoping for a bit larger piece of salmon or a bit more sucatash it was bedded on. The house IPA was great and the cream ale was nice, light and refreshing.
Currently this place has almost a 5 star rating on google. I really don’t see it. It has a nice atmosphere and the beer was decent, but we for sure won’t be coming back for food. Everything was super oily. We came in at 5:30 on a Wednesday night, so the kitchen couldn’t have been slammed or anything. I really wanted to like this place but it’s very mediocre.
What a great space! Loved the atmosphere and the food was very good! Try the pizzas. The beer was also excellent. Good place to bring the kids; checkout the kids library to occupy the kiddos. A bit on the pricey side, but overall fantastic.
Mediocre at best. I really wanted to like this place. So much so that after the first visit was a bust we tried it again. No go.
First time we had wings which were good but only available in one flavor. We tried 2 different pizzas, both were ???????????? (there are definitely better places in Sun Prairie for good pizza.) Beer was OK.
Second go round we had flavorless burgers and fries that were too salty and cooked in what tasted like old oil. The pickles were good though.
The ambiance is neat but it isn't enough to make up for the food. There are DEFINITELY better places to spend $60 on 4 beers and 2 burgers.
The service was fast and the food fantastic. Would recommend the perch sandwich, newly added to the menu, and the salmon chowder if you are lucky enough to find it as the soup of the day when you visit. The array of beers is mind-boggling so plan on staying awhile and enjoying a few! Well done and a great add to Sun Prairie. Highly recommended.
