“Primal ‘Cue is a nice little spot, and super underrated! The St. Louis ribs are incredibly tender, a contender for the best BBQ in the Madison area. The ribs are definitely the star of the show! The rib tips were fantastic as well. They fall right off the bone, are ridiculously juicy, and smoked to perfection. The sauce they use is perfectly balanced. Also, their mustard fields sauce is probably the best mustard-BBQ we’ve tried in the area. They have different daily specials. The brisket burgers exceeded expectations by a landslide. A perfect char on the outside, juicy tender ground brisket inside- allover a perfect burger experience. The tacos they have on Tuesdays were full of flavor. We do wish they had a brisket taco, as opposed to the ground brisket! The pork and chicken tacos definitely stole the show. They were great on flour and corn tortillas, really just depending on your mood. Delicious for a BBQ taco. The nachos were a great snack to have with some drinks as well. The tacos were the star of the show here, though. We previously had criticisms of their sides, specifically the mac, but we got it again and they improved it tenfold from the last time we tried it. Super cheesy, perfectly seasoned. Zero complaints about the bourbon apples! They’re the perfect baked apple craving. The bourbon creates such a unique flavor profile. All in all, we are now regulars here! Fantastic place with fantastic service, and they love hearing feedback from their customers. Those ribs will have us coming back as long as they serve ‘em!”

“Very underwhelming to say the least. The building decor looks great. The food is quite expensive for what you get. I felt that the food was slightly above average but not worth the price. The servers were great when taking our order. Once the food arrived they were nowhere to be found. I was never asked if I needed another beverage or if my water carafe needed a refill. After we were done with our meal we sat there with no one checking in on hs until the hostess came to check on us. Then the server came to check on us after the hostess told them to. Probably won't be back.”

“This is the best place to buy chicken and goat in Dane County. The goat is extremely soft and you get great value for money. They also cut the chicken into small or medium or large pieces as per your request. We used to go every other week when we stayed on the East Side but now that we moved near Fitchburg, we still go there once a month every time we want to have goat.”

“I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee, but my wife is! She would give a 5 star review just for the quality and kick their drinks provide but I'm knocking a star off for the amount of time it takes to get through the drive up window. Last visit took me 35 minutes, and within the design of the drive though...once you're in it, you are IN IT for the long haul, without an option to back out to turn off. Friendly faces, good attitudes, solid coffee. Long wait times.”

Fair for everyone. 5 nice T Boxes, Great shape, value, ($59 Labor Day weekend), Nice big, challenging greens. Asked starter where the water is on the course and he replied, "None, but you will be back at the clubhouse after 7, and we will bring you out some and catch up to you soon. On the 2nd hole, someone brought out 4 ice waters in covered cups! GREAT Service. GPS screens in carts.”

“The mac&cheese Memphis was flavorful & gooey with cheese and Sweet & tangy barbecue sauce w/plenty of pulled pork. My friend had the veggie Popeye which she thuroably enjoyed. The restaurant was clean and neat. The chairs are not comfortable and made out of metal therefore they are always very cold so we don't come as often in the winter. But we'll be back again.”

“We waited for over an hour to be seated after we had already placed a reservation. The service at the bar while we waited was unimpressive, staff weren’t overly friendly or interactive. The food and our waitress saved this experience for us. Once we were finally seated, we were greeted timely and able to place an order right away. The food itself was delicious and our steaks were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Parmesan crust on the steak, it was our favorite of the four. We won’t return simply for how long it took us to be seated and it went completely unacknowledged.”
