(May 19, 2019, 10:40 pm)We had a pretty frustrating experience at Gus Diner back in November. The owner definitely made things right by expressing sincere apologies for the mess ups and refunded us our money.
Today we returned to Gus to give it another shot, and I’m happy we did. Our waitresses were FANTASTIC and the food was amazing.
This was a prime example of how employees can make or break your reputation. I see how that our first experience was definitely botched because of the unexperienced waitstaff at the time.
Couldn’t have been happier with our trip today and looking forward to going back again. -

(May 4, 2019, 3:43 pm)I've been going to Gus's Diner every weekend I'm in town after relocating here 11 months ago. Tim knows how to run a restaurant and his team is wonderful... especially Hannah. The food is excellent and the portions are generous making any meal there a delicious value. I usually order sirloin, ribeye, or prime rib steak and eggs. Each cut of meat is very good compared to other restaurants serving breakfast. A must visit!

(April 30, 2019, 3:58 pm)We love Gus’s. It is a weekend favorite for our entire family. Their pancakes are gigantic and delicious. The eggs Benedict is amazing. I can’t get enough of their hash browns. My husband has tried all of their omelettes and loved them all. So glad that we have Gus’s here in Verona. Updating with new pics in April 2019.

(April 1, 2019, 3:35 am)This is a great place to eat. Menu is extensive and you get huge portions. The skillet meals are excellent! I had the meat lovers skillet meal and I stuffed myself with just half of what they served. Totally delicious. Also one of a few places that serve catfish. I've had their deep fried breaded catfish and it was excellent! Great burgers, too. My family of four went there today for lunch and the place was packed, but we got seated in a just a few minutes. Service was great as well.
