Wiscow Pizza - Verona

We ordered curbside pick up from here for the first time tonight! Website was easy to use and they had a promo for 2 large pizzas, pick up was on time, and food was accurate to order and tasted great! The Tator Tot Bacon Mac N Cheese specialty pizza was our favorite. We would order from here again.

Best pizza delivery in the Verona area. Not fancy, not super authentic, not engineered in a lab to be the optimal pizza consumption experience. Just pizza, done well. If you like Glass Nickel, order here instead. If you usually order from franchise chains, give it a shot.

Notes:
- Both thin and hand-tossed pies are good (hand-tossed can feed a crowd and a half).
- Have not yet tried wings or mac
- I've had no issues with slow service.
- Hours aren't great (close at 8 PM seven nights a week)

Delicious food served at a sleepy sloth's pace.

I placed an online order at 4:10P.M. for pick up. I had planned an early dinner since I had a work meeting scheduled at 5:30P.M. I was told that I could pick my order up at 4:30P.M. Great! When I arrive to pick up my order, I was told that they were having ipad issues and did not receive it yet. Please note, that I have had this exact same issue in the past when ordering online from Monk's. So I can't say that I was surprised to hear Wiscow is now experiencing this very issue. I was told they would begin making my order and it would be about a 10 minute wait.... Well, 20 minutes later, I'm told that they made a m istake on my pizza and they need to remake it. It will be another "10 minute wait." 🙄 At this point, I've accepted the fact that I won't be home in time for my work meeting. I just want my food.

I get home, irritated and somewhat hangry, but also grateful that I didn't have to cook dinner tonight.... I begin eating the food and I'm even more grateful that we finally have delicious pizza and wings so close to home! Yes, give them a try, but expect poor time management to curb your overall disappointment.

I will update this review in the coming weeks after ordering again. Hopefully they will have their "system" figured out by then and all of the bugs worked out. I do feel like Monk's and Wiscow have a way to go on the customer service front as they generally seem to give little consideration to their poor time management and what kind of impact that can have on their customers. The manager was kind, respectful and offered me a drink while I waited, but still. I just want my order to be ready when you tell me it will be ready, the first time.... or even the second time.

Overall though, it was excellent meal! I look forward to trying them again with a little less expectation on their timing. The hand tossed crust was delicious, the toppings were generous and the sauce was flavorful! The dry rub wings were definitely worth the wait and the wrath I will face for missing my work meeting. Give them a try!!
