Murphy's | Bar and Restaurant

This place is awesome! Our server asked us if we wanted to let our dog run around in the fenced off volley ball court while we eat outside!! And besides that the food is amazing!

Nick is the best bartender ever! I'll go there anytime he's working. Big thumbs up (He needs a raise) ????

Renee is such a sweet person. And made our late lunch such a pleasure. Great wings (definitely try the Murphy sauce) and classic beer selections. Friendly people, good food. Exactly the place you want to hang out on the regular. I'm embarrassed it took me two years of driving by to actually come in.

Was in the Madison area to visit family. I ask my Uncle if he knew where good Pub was that serves Guinness. He said he did and we ended up at Murphy's. Unfortunately too late for something to eat, for They had Close the kitchen for the night. That meant more we could drink. 22 oz Guinness in tall glass. The Guinness was excellent the music playing was at the right sound level. Lost count after 4 Genesis but who was Counting. If it was not for business meeting the morning. I could see drinking to give us until they kicked us out at bar time. The patrons of the bar teased us for missing the closing of the kitchen and friendly and offered some of their tidbits. Which were good and torturous the same time. Because the little bit we had was very good. Look forward to going back to Murphy playing some pool drinking some more Guinness and getting a meal. If you're in the area and looking for a place to have a cocktail or beer and a meal. I highly recommend it.

I had the cod. It was great. Asked for an extra piece but should not have. Too much food. Others had the walleye and said it was great. All around a good meal and reasonablely priced. The place was packed on Good Friday but we were served in good time.
