Sherwood Family Restaurant

The food was flavourful but not very inventive and rather boring. I would go again but be more selective. The burger bun was generic yet the patty was pretty good. Too bad it was robbed by cheap oily American cheese. Use ANY other cheese that is actually a cheese. Had a soup and it was very flavorful bit seemed it was from a kit. The Boston Cream Pie was actually a white cake with hard frosting so strike out there. The service was friendly and warm. All staff seemed to genuinely be happy. I felt bad hearing the waitress exclaim to her boss the table next to us stiffed her with a $2 tip.

Visiting relative in Kekoskee and decided to take her out to lunch. She suggested this restaurant. VERY glad she did! MOST IMPRESSED with the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff.

I will automatically return here whenever I am in the area again. Just excellent!!

Always great service! This is our favorite place to go for breakfast. And if you catch the desert case full, you have to try their cheesecake????

Have eaten there quite a few times and food has always been prepared as I need it to be for health reasons,but the last time we were there, explained to waitress my stir fry had to be without any sauces or seasonings. Plain & boring.She appeared to understand, but when food was delivered,it had sauce on it. Back to kitchen and cook came out and I explained it to her just as we explained it to the waitress. She quickly remade the stirfry and it arrived as ordered. Food is always very good and usually there's no problems with any special requests. Friendly, family dinner.
