The drinks are very good, when I took my brother there for lunch he took one sip of his drink and lost his train of thought. The view of the Rock River is beautiful year round. “The food was flavourful but not very inventive and rather boring. I would go again but be more selective. The burger bun was generic yet the patty was pretty good. Too bad it was robbed by cheap oily American cheese. Use ANY other cheese that is actually a cheese. Had a soup and it was very flavorful bit seemed it was from a kit. The Boston Cream Pie was actually a white cake with hard frosting so strike out there. The service was friendly and warm. All staff seemed to genuinely be happy. I felt bad hearing the waitress exclaim to her boss the table next to us stiffed her with a $2 tip.”

I was pleasantly surprised to come to the Mayville Subway and find a young man, Alex, who was polite, and is a true sandwich artist. “Gorgeous historic hotel with a lot of character. Ample room in the rooms. Multiple floors to pick from, providing privacy for everyone. The restaurant provides a high end dining experience, farm to table, in a very intimate setting. Few things worthy of note: Dinner requires a reservation, so plan ahead. Beds are quite soft. Larger folks, or those with back pain may find this uncomfortable. Rooms come with an additional heater for the cold months. Turn it up, and leave it on. It is a historic building, and is insulated and uses radiant heat.”

“I love The Natural Way! Patti and Earl are the owners and have done an excellent job with both the store and the eatery! Patti is a nutritionist and can help out with your dietary needs. Earl is a chef and creates a fabulous menu that changes almost daily and of course, with the season! You can expect to fresh organic fruits and vegetables as well as dairy products in the coolers. They also have a freezer section for meats, breads, pizzas, etc. In addition, they also have a variety of drinks available. You can order any drink you'd like off their menu or grab one out of the cooler. After (or before!) your meal, you can even do some household shopping!”
