Summer Kitchen Restaurant

Outstanding find for lunch. I usually do not order salads but this looked to be their specialty and luckily I was right. I went with the cashew chicken salad which came with a cup of soup. The tomato basil soup was delicious with the just the right amount of pepper to keep it not boring. The actual chicken salad part of the salad was very fresh and I left feeling satisfied and not hungry which is always a worry of mine when I have a salad for a meal.

This was a second visit for us. The staff is very friendly, efficient, and helpful. And the food is fresh & delicious. Eggs done just the way I ordered which when often I am served eggs that are fried in too hot of a pan & end up with brown, crispy edges & bottoms. Fresh, homemade bread too. I wonder though why more restaurants don’t serve homemade jams or jelly’s. Especially when Door County is known for cherries. Had pie ala mode last year when visiting & was so awesome. We will definitely be back.
