Nostalgic and fun place, crazy busy though. If you have time, dine there rather than waiting in line for ice cream. We spent over an hour to have a sandwich and ice cream. The ice cream area and entrance/exit are laid out poorly for foot traffic. The ice cream was still tasty.

Lovely, historical restaurant and old fashioned ice cream parlor. Restaurant offers a number of sandwiches and salads at a moderate price and lots of ice cream options. The place is frequently busy on summer days for just carryout ice cream items but you can be seated at a table and only order ice cream treats. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious ice cream sundaes. Good variety of flavors. Nice outdoor patio seating and a screened in porch both over looking the water. Catch the sunset perfectly from the patio. Great prices as well. 4 sundaes for under $30

Great restaurant! Stayed up here in Door County for a vacation and went here on the first day! Staff is nice, and the food is great! The seating was a great choice, I got to sit in an area next to the porch. However, service was slow. I ordered fries and it probably took 10-15 minutes, maybe 20 to get my food to my table! But still a great restaurant, it's one to recommend! Also love the old 40s and 50s style!

We had lunch at this very popular restaurant which attracted numerous cyclists that day. Luckily, we got a table (indoors, not on the patio) quickly. Lunch was delicious and service was friendly and efficient. Price was reasonable though not cheap.

What a beautiful building! In business since 1906, but expanded often during the subsequent years.
