Shoreline Restaurant

Had a wonderful meal at the Shoreline Restaurant last night. The place was packed and we decided to eat at the bar to speed things along a bit. It was our good fortune to meet the restaurant's owner and wife and got excellent dinner recommendations and travel stories to boot. My wife had a pecan encrusted walleye with an Asian dipping sauce .My choice was broiled whitefish with pesto and four cheeses which was excellent and served with rice pilaf and sauteed veggies. We had whitefish chowder and cocktails and nice salads in advance and enjoyed the bar denizens. A beautiful evening overlooking Green Bay.

I’m being somewhat generous - I would actually like to assign it 2.5 stars. The primary positives are the atmosphere, good drinks, and generally good service.

The negatives are the price of drinks ($9.00 for a brandy Old Fashion), very skimpy salad, limited menu (only one steak item - the other items are pretty much fish), and lastly the coconut shrimp batter was not cooked properly.

The only good thing about this restaurant is the view. The teaser was good! The main course was blend AF. No flavor, no seasoning what's so ever. I waited for an hour and a half. IT WAS NOT WORTH IT !
They are charging for the view and not the food.
Complete Disappointment!

If you want to see the best sunsets in DOOR COUNTY, WI AND have a great dinner, enjoy yourself at the SHORELINE RESTAURANT. Great food, great sunsets, and you might catch a singer outside too. Take an after dinner drink or before cocktail outside on their patio to enjoy the great breezes off the point. You are now at the very tip of Wisconsin! There's no other place I'd rather be to have a great dinner with family and friends and enjoy the best sunsets DOOR COUNTY has to offer is the SHORELINE RESTAURANT! ????
