Bluefront Cafe

The place was fantastic in every aspect. The foods was amazing. I had a smoked Turkey with bleu cheese and fries. The waitress even gave my 1 year old son a puzzle for pre dinner entertainment.

Stopped for lunch. Nice, inviting interior. Hostess was very pleasant. They have indoor and outdoor seating. My wife & I sat inside. It is loud, the sound bounces off the hard surfaces. If you’re looking for a quiet, conversational get-a-way, there may be better options. Good menu. Food was tasty. Service a bit spotty. Could have been a bit more attentive.
It took us 45 minutes in & out, which was fine. We weren’t in a hurry. I’d go back again.

Always a great lunch in sturgeon bay. Options for all types of eaters. Nice beer and wine list. Highly recommend it!

Yesterday we enjoyed a nice lunch at the Bluefront Cafe in Sturgeon Bay. The dining room is cute... quiet and peaceful. Our waitress was friendly and cheerful. We tried their fish tacos, and smoked turkey and brie sandwich. Both were tasty, and we especially enjoyed their house-made fries. At first, the menu seemed somewhat limited and odd, but the things we eventually chose were good. We ended up paying $70 for lunch for four people, which seems a little expensive for the food we received... But overall a good experience.

A must visit place for me now for every Door County visit. This cafe is a hidden gem. We were there for a late lunch. We got there close to closing time but that didn't seem to bother the staff at all. They have some unique sandwiches that are so delicious! Next time I pass through I'll try to get there for breakfast but I'm definitely going to get there.
