Very nice atmosphere and great quality food. The Mac & Cheese is amazing but beware, it is a very large portion. Either split it with 4 people or make it your dinner. All the food was wonderful and we had the flight of Mimosa's and those were all delicious. Highly recommend it.
Great food. Nice staff. Easy find on the main Street of Sturgeon Bay downtown. Cozy and classy place for good lunch and drinks. Sunday brunch menu was good We had awesome mocktail made with door county cherry tart juice. Their home made black cherry lemonade was super special.
This was my first time coming here since they changed ownership. I had a lovely lunch of the quiche of the day (which had squash and spinach and other vegetables) with fruit and a piece of baguette and blackberry lemonade. It was delicious, and the blackberry lemonade reminded me of going to my grandma’s house when I was a kid. Both the waitress and hostess were very nice.
We stayed in room #9 and it was absolutely wonderful! There is a walk out patio and a Jacuzzi. Unloved the 18th century decor in our room as well. There is popcorn, tea, and coffee available in the dining area whenever you would like. Overall very pleased with the room and service! It's a more unique way to experience Door County rather than a typical modern hotel.
We had a wonderful stay over the long 4th of July weekend. We dined downstairs a few times and made few stops into the bar during our stay and each time everything was great. The bartenders were very welcoming and made fantastic drinks. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable, also the breakfast area for guests was very nice.
