We were here visiting Door county for my mom's birthday and didn't want to eat another burger and fries. Did a little looking online and found this little gem. As Mexican American women born and raised in Chicago, having lived in Milwaukee and now Racine, we seriously approve. I think it's even better than other places we've been to, and about as good as our home cooking, lol. My husband, who prefers the burgers and fries, and who doesn't usually give compliments, said this was better than any other taco he's tasted. The only hiccup was that the young man who took our order missed one of the tacos we asked for, but the owner made it right for us. Support this local business, places like this are hard to find.

Thank you for bringing delicious authentic Mexican food to Door County! I grew up in San Diego, so I know Mexican food, and Mauricio's delivers with flavor and quality. Their meats, tortillas and salsas are bursting with a punch flavor that you only get from well made and homemade food. I get so excited to drive over and sit al fresco with my husband and our delicious meal! My go to is the grilled Mahi Mahi tacos and have also had the carnitas, al pastor and steak, all have been divine! Jamaica is also well spiced and a great accompaniment. The food truck is in a really nice spot, where it's easy to enjoy what matters, good company and amazing food!

Loved the tacos and the burritos. The chef/owner/staff were really friendly!

This is a family operation preparing some great Mexican food on site in a food trailer. I have eaten here twice and have just about tried everything, not to be disappointed. I moved to Sturgeon Bay from Texas 10 years ago and this area has always lacked the flavors of a good taco spot that offers a great small menu that will put a smile on your face. Maricio's has a well kept outdoor eating area, a treat and water spot for your pets if you are just passing through and  you are within walking distance to three city parks if you choose to eat on the canal for a water view. You will have to exit off 57/42  and head into Sturgeon Bay to find Maricio's. Skipping this stop if you are hungry thinking you're going to find something better or familiar further north will only do your belly a disservice. Give it a try, you will stop again leaving Door County.

What a gem! Looking for something really tasty at a very affordable price? Look no further! This family owned joint is a must! We were referred by local. Way better than adobo or chipotle!
