Cousin Chuy's

Really cool lay out of the place, love the back patio, bar was cool, bar tender was kinda rude and being a total "Brad", food was excellent and the cook is super nice n friendly! Place needs a few upgrades but other than that, awesome place to be.

Don't be fooled! The menu says the fries are "Twice-fried for a better crunch" and another reviewer said they are "crispy & perfect." Sadly, they are just the opposite: typical wrinkly brown soggy pub fries!

Which is a shame because the burgers are top notch. I had the Bad Decision burger which was a little difficult to eat (as expected) but pretty tasty. The meat patties themselves are made of juicy high-quality beef and seasoned to perfection. The most delicious I've tasted since The The Hurricane Hut in Bayfield. I've traveled through most of the states and dined in a variety of other countries too so that's saying a lot!

Next time I'll probably just go for the regular cheese burger which is probably amazing. I just wish the fries were better. Upgrading to a nice crispy beer-battered fry would be a smart move for these guys. If they ever do, I'll change my review to 5 stars.

By the way, Cousin Chuy's is actually inside the Average Joe's bar. There is no signage so it would be easy to miss!

Ordered from door dash and got their boneless wings and WOW. AMAZING! My husband got their biggest burger and fries and the fries were amazing too! So crispy. Just perfect. So yummy.

Never been but I know the head chef he was my roommate in college and would cook for me all time. However, I did help him concoct the perfect wing sauce. Love you Cody! I'm going to try this place someday!

Let me start off clarifying I've never been in the store and have only ever door dashed their food.

Y'all the wings are the best I've ever had. They've become my new comfort food. They're affordable and amazingly delicious. Didn't care for the blue cheese or onion rings but to be fair I have insane standards for both and that's not Chuy's fault. I only get the buffalo with ranch now and oh my god. So good. I order weekly (sometimes multiple times a week) right now. Highly recommend!
