Hammond Steak House

Walking up the stairs of this place is like a time-warp. When you reach the restaurant you are somewhere in the late 70s to early 80s. Although the decore is dated you won't find a better steak for MANY miles. The service is always top-notch!

Large group and received excellent, friendly, efficient service. Food was very good for all. Nice private room too.

The lost in the 70's decor is the perfect backdrop for this decades old, family owned iconic neighborhood restaurant.

They food is as traditional "Steak House " as you can get. All the classic surf and turf items you'd expect.

We were there recently with a rather large party and only one was disappointed with the steak. It was ordered medium well. It was decidedly well done.

I can say that the Scallops were incredible.

Dessert list is impressive, but the desserts are not made on site or baked local to my knowledge . Rather they seem to be from a supplier. Still, everyone who ordered something said they liked them.

The staff was very attentive and friendly.

The staircase up to the restaurant will prove problematic to those with cardiac and mobility issues.

Good food, good waitress good friends. What can I say? The evening was good.

Good food and good prices. Husband enjoyed his broiled lake trout. Not fancy.
