Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

We go pretty much every weekend. I love it, I just wish the food was fresher... Sometimes when I go it's like the biscuits or noodles have been sitting there all day.

Very convenient, open 24/7. Easy to get to from campus if you have a car, kind of a long trip if you’re just walking or biking there. Last time I was going to go with my mom after moving in, there was a shady character just kinda hanging out in the front for a while and then just inside the first doors area without going in for a long time too. That made us felt uneasy so we went across the street to Denny’s instead.

First I ordered tomato basil soup and they were all out. So I figured out something else I wanted which included lemon meringue pie. Turns out they didn't have any of that either.

Took my girls to have dinner after a rough few days, with my buy one get one entree coupon. Just to take a break from reality and enjoy a real dinner with them.
I have no complaints about the food. It was what we expected. It did not let down. But what made the meal all the better was our server! Eli was phenomenal. Definitely above and beyond the typical server! Made our evening a delightful experience. Had my oldest daughter and I just laughing away. And even paid extra attention to my youngest making sure to include her in the fun!
Eli definitely made our experience a wonderful one. Took a little weight off an exhausted mom's shoulders for an hour and brought some much needed laughter into one families life.
