Thai Orchid Restaurant

Modest and nothing fancy about the dining room, but the food and service are great. This visit I had the wontons, and the garlic & pepper shrimp served with a side of Jasmine rice. You can order the level of spice you want in your entree, or request no spice. This has become one of my favorite restaurants.

Great service. Authentic tasting Asian food. Well priced. Huge portions. We could not finish the food. We are taking home enough for a second meal. Great taste. Good spices. Not bland in the least. Much better taste than most restaurants in Eau Claire Wisconsin.

I've been to Thai Orchid about 6 or 7 times now and although I haven't tried most items on the menu, I liked what I've tried so far. The prices are inexpensive but the portions are usually smaller than other Thai restaurants in the area. It's interesting today that I ordered two spring rolls and one of them was a lot shorter than the other. :) Anyways, I like the fact that they are open til 9 o'clock and the location has easy access to a lot parking areas. It's a bummer they are closed on Sundays. Overall, great service, friendly staff specially Korr! We will be back soon.

Authentic food! Very good, but watch the spiciness! I ordered glass noodles stir fry with beef, and they asked how spicy I wanted it. Based on most places, I ordered medium. My food was well above medium spicy! Still very good, but I don't mind the heat.

Excellent staff, great food, fair prices. Every time I've been there, regardless how many tables are filled you will be taken care of very fast. I'll admit for entrees I've usually gone for their curries, though I do like to change it up once in a while. They are consistent on their quality of food and the portions are also perfect. Even on my current diet I was easily able to find items that easily worked for me. I will highly recommend Thai Orchid to anyone and everyone.
