“They have some work to do. Dinner service was friendly but quite slow. When our meals arrived, the roast chicken was very good, but the barbecued pork was cold. When I pointed this out, the server pleasantly took it and 60 seconds later it was returned, microwaved. Breakfast was priced reasonably, but they were very under-staffed, so we did a lot of sitting with no coffee or food. Pretty decent buffet.”

“I usually go there at lunchtime for their wonderful salad bar but I have been on a restricted calorie diet and eating very little meat. Today for the same price as the salad bar, you could have a prime rib sandwich and either fries, soup or one plate of salad. I ordered this and was so pleased. The bun was buttered and toasted perfectly, the meat was quite lean and cooked just right. I had a heaped plate of salad, including pickled beets and herring. Delicious! I only have 259 calories left for supper but it was totally worth it! Good service too.”

“Pretty resturant with a beautiful bar. Ordered the toasted cheese and calamari appetizers. The toasted cheese was wonderful. But the calamari was soft and oily and the dipping sauce was not good. The cheese came out first. The calamari came after the main course. Was told it was forgotten. Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Oh my large bowl of spaghetti, 3 meatballs. There was hardly any sauce. Questioned waitress, she said it was on the bottom .. stirred it still just a loose sparse sauce that looks like tomato juice. Asked for more sauce for us. We received more sauce but something was off. It was so thin and little taste. Tasted like the sauce was rushed and not simmered. It was not good and didn't cling to the spaghetti which was soft and overcooked.We had ordered two spaghetti and meatballs. We could not eat it . Didn't take it home. The buns and the old fashioned were the highlight of this meal.”

“Today on our way to drop off our daughter at camp we stumbled on this place thanks to a detour. What a hidden gem this is. There combo plate specials are a great deal with fried rice and an egg roll. We each got an entree and shared some dumplings. Everything was excellent. The best egg rolls I've paid for in a long time. Everything was fresh, the vegetables were still crisp, the meat was tender, the sauces were great. The service was also excellent. I have been disappointed with small town Chinese food lots of times but this place is for real.”
