Tavern on Rock

Food is a step above what you would expect from what used to be a dive bar only known for having karaoke on Sunday nights.

Since becoming Tavern on Rock, the food is fantastic, mixed drinks are unique (albeit expensive) and the interior is clean and sharp.

The street tacos are the main reason to keep coming back. They are all fantastic, though the korean beef are just... Missing something. Still well worth trying!

Went on a Friday eve for fish. Super hot inside that night. Not sure why the prep cook was carrying raw French fries from the kitchen around the bar to the cook area, in his apron. Yes. In his apron. A few hiccups - but I'm sure they will get things in order. Returned for a late lunch a few days later - much better experience.

Very decent price for the size of the burger. Fresh, good tasting burger. Fresh cut fries were pretty good as well. Recommend

Awesome experience. Drinks were fabulous and affordable. The servers were kind and friendly, food was amazing, came out in a timely fashion and tasted great. Is just a perfect mix of quality bar and grill, with a fun environment and staff.
This is not the old Belmont fort used to know, it is by far 10x better now...highly recommended.

My husband and I have been WAITING for them to open, and oh boy was the wait worth it!!! Superb service... super friendly and attentive. The meal was top notch! My husband had the Grecian Delight Gyro (traditional from the spit) and I had the California Reuben. We also shared the fried pickle spears and a basket of cajon-seasoned fries. We seriously ate until we thought we might explode! It was too good to waste a bite!!! The price was reasonable for the quality and large portions too. We absolutely recommend this place, and we will certainly be returning.
