Rock River Pizza Co

It was a cute place, I had the calzone and the bottom was burnt. But the rest of the calzone was good. Our waitress was nice, but in a big hurry to leave for the night.

Great beer, great food, and great service. If you're a fan of Jimmy's Grotto's ponzas, you have to give Rock River's panzerottis a try - same great flavor without the gut rot. I'll definitely be returning.

Rock River Pizza was as great as ever! Our only regret is that we did not find it sooner! The owner, Randy, and his wife, Mel, are wonderful people. The wait staff are very friendly and the service is fast, attentive and accurate!

The food is excellent, flavorful, and for the most part, prepared in their own kitchen, which is more than can be said for most places! Sauces are made fresh daily, meats are mostly hand cut daily! Pizzas are baked in a gas fired Italian style pizza oven and are delicious! They are the best I have had since I was in Italy in the 1970s while I was in the Army!

You can't go wrong with a pizza from Rock River Pizza!

First time here. Loved the crispy, chewy crust, good sausage, tasty sauce. Would have given a 4 star, but ceiling was peeling in several areas and we could smell sewer gas. Also tried the meatball sandwich. It was good. But needed cheese and maybe a side of jardinare. Basically just meatballs and sauce. Meatballs were good and sauce was ok.

We have been there about 4 times now and every time it has been really good. We love the toasted ravioli. The pizza is really good as well as the calzone and the fish fry was excellent homemade potato pancakes. You can tell the owner wants to serve good food. My money can spend anywhere but I would rather support a place that serves really good food and cares about his customers.
