“Went here on a Friday night for dinner. There was a group of six of us. The rest of the bar was not busy. We sat there for 15 min before anyone even took our drink order. Once we got our order in, the food came out quickly. Waitress checked on us a few times. The food was great. No complaints at all. Then it took us a good amount of time to pay our bills. Not sure what we going on there with the service. Either way, if you are in the area and looking for good food, it is worth stopping. Had a nice seating area outside as well.”

“The young lady who was our waitress was very friendly but also very nervous, the staff seemed confused & it took a minute for us to get a waitress to our table. It took 15 minutes to get drinks & that was soda & water (I went to the bar to get our refills). We ordered an appetizer & had to ask for it again before we got it, as we watched people who order after us get their entire meal. We understand they are short staffed trying to train in people so we will give them another go sometime”

“We stopped for gas and picked up some coffee, tea and cookies from the Family Restaurant. The sugar cookies were amazing! 😍 The chocolate chip cookie was fantastic as well. Service was polite and friendly. When I asked for milk for my tea she grabbed me some with no problem. Also grabbed some cheese curds for the road! Definitely worth the stop.”

“Hart’s Hooterhause is an incredible place that has been completely transformed. The bowling alley is beautiful and pays tribute to all the local schools. You really need to experience it. The rest of the building is renovated with new booths and seating throughout. Newly painted with a game room, meeting or group room, updated restaurant and dining room. The menu is a twist of German American cuisine, with gyros, pizza, burgers, schnitzel sandwiches, rueben brats and so much more. The prices are amazing and they offer bowling for $8 a person for two hours of bowling. The owners Nicole and Eric are amazing as they brought the expertise and ethnic foods from Germany. Eric was stationed there with the military and met Nicole. This family will welcome you in and make you feel at home. Take a moment to check it out.”

“The food was amazing. I had the baked french onion soup and the smoked ribs and my husband had the salad and the 14oz. ribeye steak. The soup on it's own is a meal and I would drive the 2.5 hour trip again just to eat that soup. The death by chocolate cake dessert is delicious. Our server, Kari, was friendly, had a good sense of humor, and made the meal worth every penny.”

“Had a fish fry last night with neighbors. One of the best we ever had. Good portions and reasonable prices. Had fried cod and broiled cod. Both very good. Drinks also very reasonable. One suggestion is to add a little green (spinach) to the salad bowl to add some color. Definitely plan on going again and try the prime rib..”

But their Bistro houses some of the most amazing food and desserts you could ever imagine. Mike the chef comes up with the most tastebud tantalizing dishes everyday.
