Great historic place from the 1800s in a small little town! Grew up going here and still have to say it’s really fun to go to. The menu is limited but you can’t go wrong with the steak and lobster dinner! Seeing the old hotel up stairs is one of my favorite parts!
Historic stage stop from the 1800's. Excellent food and the service is great. The menu is limited to a few different steaks, pork chops and lobster. The food is cooked on a charcoal grill. Check out the museum upstairs and the old hotel rooms. Reservations are a really good idea.
I have had dinner about 6 times, since new ownership. Huge improvement of the quality steaks and elbow space. Phil is great at his cooking craft.
First off, reservations are almost a must! It is a busy place! And for good reason! The food is delicious and served with heaps of butter. The staff is friendly and very pleasant. And don't forget to check our the upstairs where they have memorabilia of the stage stop when it was actually a stage stop!
The food is absolutely delicious here. We always have steak and lobster with the mushrooms and grilled onions. They definitely like using butter here, which makes it all so yummy. The service was wonderful! This place has a lot of history. I recommend exploring around upstairs and learning about some of it. We will be back!
