“The line wasn't very long. There were two others ahead of me and it moved rather quickly. The best surprise was that the young lady taking my order asked if she could shake my hand. I said sure and she said thank you very much for your service. I just smiled and said sure and thank you. I was wearing a Navy ball cap at the time. This one action by her makes me want to frequent this particular McDonald's whenever I am in Paddock Lake, WI or close by. I spent 10 years in the military and it's nice to be recognized. What I like most about this McDonald's is that they have this neat table with a light above it that shines down shapes on the table.
