A&W Restaurant

Good food. Fairly reasonable prices. Some too expensive for the portions or quality. It's become more of an inside restaurant, which takes childhood memories, of eating and ordering over the intercom from the car, kind of ended.

I've always had a preference for A&W, this location was no exception. The few times I've been there, the lovely staff were always kind and helpful and the food was spot on. I also believe their cheese curds are better than Culver's cheese curds. The decore is reminiscent of a mid 20th century diner, complete with a jukebox. Oh, and we cannot forget about the root beer! It is very delicious, and it you enjoy root beer then you must try an ice cold glass of their fresh root beer. Children get a free cone with an order from the kids menu.

La Crosse's A&W is one of the best in the state. Is it because of juicy hamburgers with just the right kind of pickle? Is it due to a perfectly balanced root beer float in frosted glass mugs on a hot day, or the friendly, fast service?

Root beer floats in a glass mug is a great summer treat. Also, try their breakfast dining inside. Cute 50's decor and great service. Blueberry pancakes out of this world! Their Friday Fish Fry can't be beat!

Delicious food at a fantastic value. Each time we have visited we had great service. Love that they serve their root beer in cold, frosty mugs!
