Hungry Peddler

The Hungry Peddler is an unexpected delightful experience. First the building is full of old photos and charm. We thought the food was perfect and our waitress was available for our every need. I loved this restaurant.

Wonderful food! Had the 1/2 lb. Veggie burger (hamburger with lots of veggies) and couldn't finish it. Great flavor.

The best place to eat in LaCrosse. Great atmosphere and excellent food, also great service. We go there often and it’s always amazing. If you are lucky enough to get Paula as your server you are in for a real treat, she is awesome. The entire staff is great.

Friendly. Dim. Good coffee and onion soup.
Burger was cooked to death. The service was slow but friendly. Judging by food delivery i observed, im guessing they had one cook on. Why so slow?

Great basic food. The French onion soup is the bomb. The servers are a no BS breed and just the kick in the pants my generation needs. It's also my mother's favorite restaurant. I held back on the five star only because theres nothing too exciting going on but it is good food like grandma would make. So if that's what you're looking for than this is a great place for you.
