    KING CRAB LEGS... do I need to say more?!
    These are the BOMB! Anyone who loves crab has gotta get to the Freighthouse. I don't care that they don't take reservations... this place is worth the wait. Enjoy a drink or two in the bar while listening to live music. The place is a MUST GO on my LAX list. My boyfriend has had the porter prime rib steak which is supposed to be 22oz I believe but is is definitely closely to a few pounds as it is the size of a mini football. All the food & drinks are PERFECT here & the staff are knowledgable & very professional. I cannot recommend this place enough!

    I had a great meal and fantastic service. Was worth every dollar! The old depot made it a perfect place to eat.

    5+++++stars. We had a group of 16 for dinner. Tried another restaurant in town and manager was rude when we arrived without a reservation. Had empty tables but said it would be about 45 min. Called freight house and they were able to accomodate us within 10 minutes. Manager went above and beyond for us. Excellent service and food. Prime rib was huge with little waste. Manager gave us complimentary desserts to share. Group had halibut, shrimp and steak also. Everything was great!! Devon was s great waitress. If we ever get back to Lacrosse we will stop in!!

    The food was great.. the service excellent. But check your bill I've been overcharged on a few occasions. For a family of 3 expect around 180. With out Gratuity!!! A place where an average family can go once a year

    Great service, food, atmosphere. Excellent restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant in La Crosse. Down town the Freight house has good parking and excellent atmosphere. The wine menu is excellent. The food is outstanding and the service is some of the best I have encountered in a long time.
