Potbelly Sandwich Works

Good turkey sub. Chocolate shakes are great. And you can't go without getting a choc chip oatmeal cookie

Potbelly is my favorite chain of sandwich shops. Simply put, their sandwiches are better tasting than the others. I like that their restaurants have character. The occasional live music they have is a very nice touch. About a year ago I started eating low carb so I've only gotten to enjoy their subs on cheat days, BUT their powerhouse salad with ranch is not terribly high in carbs so I get it occasionally. SO GOOD! Make sure you get ranch if you're watching carb intake. The other dressings have added sugar. Friendly staff at the Bayshore location too!

It's always a treat to go too Potbelly's, their gourmet sandwiches are rather good, and I've never had a negative experience with the staff.

However they never seem to have all the ingredients for my personal favorite menu item, the pizza sandwich. Either they don't have meatballs that day or there is no pepperoni, and the part that irks me is they never tell me it's out untill they make the sandwich. I understand it's a nitpick but it's happened enough times to warrant concern. Personally I'd like too know that they can't complete the sandwich and be able to order a new one, instead of getting extra mushrooms as compensation.

But at the end of the day, the food is still pretty good.
