Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Best Golden Corral I've been to in the area. Food is always well stocked and it's not so crowded like the one in Waukesha. Staff could be a little more attentive as far as filling drinks but I gotta feel bad for them because they get paid such o low pay and count on tips people don't know to leave here. That doesn't excuse slow service but I get it. It's always very clean and the variety is great. Something for everyone from your toddlers to your grandma's. I'll be a repeat customer.

I first visited a few months ago. I had a not so good experience. The manager called me personally to apologize and offer some coupons for me to return and give them another try. So I made that trip today for my dads birthday and it went much better. The waitress did a much better job then the last. (Also had a different person) They definitely redeemed themselves. I may actually leave a tip this time.

The service was efficient and more than met my needs. The food wasn't the best I've had at a Golden Corral however. I just had bad timing perhaps, as I was there just as it started to get busy. The food that was available was probably sitting for a little while. I understand though. The only other issue was that several times when going to get a plate there were plates that had food on them. I don't mean just a speck of food but a lot of it. The dessert bar was good as always.

The food here is decent but unremarkable. They have a good selection of food, but I don't know if it is maybe better for their dinner menu (we came for lunch). I heard from a co worker that the breakfast buffet is the best one of the day. My thought is, that if you have been to an all you can eat buffet, you could skip this one. If you want a cheap, all you can handle meal, by all means, come here.

For all you can eat food, this place is tops to me. Four of us visited tonight. Long line as usual, but it moved quickly enough. Wait staff was great, in particular our server. She was cheerful and attentive.

Food was as expected, with the butterfly shrimp a real standout. Two people in our party loved the chocolate cake. I can't eat eggs, but looking at the cake, I was definitely tempted.

Two people in our group had never eaten here before, but can't wait to come back.

As is normal for a restaurant of this type, you have to be prepared for long lines and some food that will not please. But with so much to choose from, no one has reason to complain. We will return.
